Directional Drilling

Trenchless Directional Drilling Services in Ontario

Our horizontal directional drilling (HDD) service allows us to install pipelines and utilities beneath roads, waterways, and structures—without disturbing the surface. This makes HDD ideal for environmentally sensitive zones, high-traffic areas, and complex urban projects.

What is Directional Drilling?

Directional drilling is a specialized technique used in construction industries at various angles rather than just vertically. This method allows for the precise placement of pipe to access resources located beneath the surface in a more efficient and cost-effective manner will also minimizng surface disturbances.

What to Expect:

  • Site Assessment & Locates

We begin by reviewing project specs, soil conditions, and existing infrastructure. We’ll coordinate with local utility locate services to ensure a safe drilling path.

  • Path Planning

Our technicians determine the most efficient bore path to minimize surface disturbance and avoid underground conflicts.

  • Pilot Bore & Reaming

Using our HDD rigs, we drill the pilot hole along the planned route. We then enlarge the bore to accommodate the final pipe or conduit size.

  • Pipe Installation

Your pipe or conduit is pulled back through the bore path using specialized equipment, ensuring a seamless underground installation.

  • Surface Restoration & Reporting

We clean up the site and, if needed, restore any disturbed surfaces. You’ll receive a completion report and final inspection walkthrough.
